Have a look at the clay “little beings” we made last week. We read a few stories about the little beings as part of our Religious Education in Alive-O. Each little being is different and very special so each child made a different little being to show their individuality. They really look great- well done everyone!
We have started to write stories with a little help from books we know well. This week the children wrote the story of The Three Little Pigs. They used illustrations to help tell the story. Everyone worked really hard-have a look at the pictures of our work:
Today is Scott’s 7th Birthday- Happy Birthday Scott!
It was Mark’s birthday yesterday, so a belated Happy Birthday to Mark also!
Just a reminder that our play is on tomorrow 14th at 1:45pm in the church.
Tomorrow is Conor Melwani’s birthday too, so a very Happy Birthday to Conor!
First we took out 13 units. Then we separated ten units to one side. Once we had ten units,we could change these units into one ten bar. We were left with one ten and 3 units.
This week we started something new in Maths. We are learning about tens and units. We’ll be spending the next two weeks working hard on this topic. We will have some pictures tomorrow of our work. In order to keep the flu out of our classroom, I would really appreciate it if each child brought in a small packet of tissues and a small container of hand gel. These could be put in a little bag with a small face cloth for drying hands. I have hand gel and tissues in the classroom also. Thanks for your co-operation.
