  • Sunday is Eva’s birthday– she will be seven. Happy Birthday Eva!
  • There will be a staff meeting next Wednesday 2nd February so the school will close at 12 noon.
  • We did a small maths quiz today- they will be sent home Monday for parents to sign.

Have a look at the clay “little beings” we made last week. We read a few stories about the little beings as part of our Religious Education in Alive-O. Each little being is different and very special so each child made a different little being to show their individuality. They really look great- well done everyone!

We have started to write stories with a little help from books we know well. This week the children wrote the story of The Three Little Pigs. They used illustrations to help tell the story. Everyone worked really hard-have a look at the pictures of our work:

Just a reminder that our play is on tomorrow 14th at 1:45pm in the church.

Tens and units

First we took out 13 units. Then we separated ten units to one side. Once we had ten units,we could change these units into one ten bar. We were left with one ten and 3 units.
